When you were born you were given a bucket. At the bottom of this bucket rested crystal clear water that reflected back your true self. Over time other people and experiences put stones in your bucket. Some of your stones belong to other people and came from their imperfect ideas about who they thought you should be. Some stones were created by experiences you had that left you with with their weight because they were not nourishing.
The amount of stones in your bucket determines how much of your true self you can still see.
The work for you now is unpacking the stones to reveal the light of your true self .

Hawaiian Poem gifted to and in loving memory of Anna Bernet, Teacher and Mentor

Psychological distress often arises when long-standing patterns, unprocessed experiences, or competing demands begin to build up and overwhelm you
Clarissa's approach brings a structured yet spacious therapeutic environment where symptoms can be understood in context, patterns gently examined, and new ways of relating to yourself and others can emerge. She integrates contemporary psychological practice with depth-based and relational approaches, supporting change that is both grounded and enduring.

Meet Your Therapist

Clarissa Mosley is a dual-trained Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over three decades of experience in personal and psychological development. Originally trained in Gestalt Therapy in the mid-1990s, she later completed postgraduate psychology training and registration to enable client access to Medicare and private health rebates.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the individual, drawing on modalities such as mindfulness-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), trauma-informed approaches including Brainspotting, and PACT relationship therapy. Clarissa also maintains a strong interest in the biological foundations of mental health, including nutritional and biochemical influences on mood, cognition, and resilience.
Alongside evidence-based clinical practice, she works with depth, meaning, and consciousness, recognising the psychological relevance of transpersonal and existential dimensions of human experience.
