Unlucky in love?

Can't find a decent partner, hold down a relationship or  do you just keep choosing the wrong girl or guy?
Counselling

Are you ready for a relationship?

Many singles come to couples counsellors to explore their relationship issues. This is because a therapist who is skilled in relationship therapy is in the best position to help those who are having trouble forming, keeping or staying in a relationship.
Most people who have been through individual psychotherapy and dealt with their issues have far more success in future relationships than those who try and work through things alone.

Symptoms that might affect your ability to be in relationship include;
  • Constantly thinking about an ex partner.
  • Demanding perfection from others and using it as an excuse to get out of the relationship, or never enter into one.
  • Strong feelings of jealousy that are destructive to your relationships.
  • Feeling addicted to the internet at the expense of real relationships.
  • Chronic shyness and nerves around the opposite sex.
  • A string of short relationships - 'commitment phobia'.
  • Constantly choosing the same and 'wrong' kind of person.
  • Able to get a date, but can't maintain a long term relationship.

Individual consultation on relationship failure is the best thing you can do for your self for now and in the future. In working out or working through the issues that stop you having fulfilling relationships you can heal, get yourself sorted and (hopefully) do things better the next time. Healthy secure relationships are what we all want and need for optimal development. Don't listen to statistics, there's someone out there for everyone, if you are ready?
